MOVING GALLERY - a communicative circulation between
visual and performing arts with electronic music in public space.
Originally conceived for a moveable unit consisting of a former military truck
built in 1968, model Steyr 680 M, and trailer.
MOVING GALLERY is an electronic shell, containing, and/or combining
different artistic elements such as performance, dance, installation, light
design and video projections leading to a "performative" gesture
in a given space.
In the course of this work in progress several pieces were developed also
for indoor stage productions such as Alice- Wunderland ist abgebrannt,
Zoom , Left Overs, Voluminellas among others.
Coproduced by Internationalen Tanzwoche Dresden, Sommerszene Salzburg and
Schloss Broellin. With the support of Stadt Wien, Bundeskanzleramt - Kunstsektion.

"With this interweaving of installation, media art,
music and dance within a performance-convoy, which is as flexible as artistic
thinking has to be, PILOTTANZT takes a new position. The single art-works
are becoming part of a bigger whole. This is already more than a curated setting:
the - imaginary - connecting lines between the different artistic statements
become parts of the art." Helmut Ploebst, Salzburger Nachrichten
"The unsual group which works on the bordering lines
of different art forms, adapted a container to be a stage…changes views
with projection screens into landscapes, glimmering coulour games, imaginary
spaces. PILOTTANZT builds their art - as they say and we know - on the combination
of music, light, painting, videoanimation and movement, they try to combine
visual and acustic forms be it for their similarities or their contradictions."
