The starting point of the production “ I feel sick “ are classical presentation forms from photography, and how they represent themselves to us, almost stereotyped, in the most different media. The interplay between an “individual“ body and an “exchangeable, socially valuable“ body becomes a new topic. In this case 3 “representative“ photos from the genres like presentation of the ideal – beauty, of the horror or of the political important, will be chosen and translated from their rigidity (stiffness) into the living body. To prove the statement, that photography is a frozen moment, wrong; photos will be morphed (changed) into poses. The puzzle like line up of these poses finally concludes an ironic as well as a ridiculous – absurd acting movement-language, from which art-figures can establish themselves. Figures, which can be named as a conglomerate of mock-truths and which can develop their own mechanical rhythmic. These art-figures will be accompanied, observed and imitated by a 7-year old girl, who can be symbolically read as a naïve consumer. The work with the “picturesque” leads to a limited, codified body language, in comparison to the sound, which is initiated by an organic breathing-rhythm.
